In order to exercise the right to the protection of PII (Personally Identifiable Information) data under the CCPA, EU GPDR and other regulations that define processing of personal data we state our

Please read this document carefully in order to be aware of the conditions and giving consent on the use of your personal data by EVE, as Data Controller. 

 

Purpose of the collection of personal data 

In contacts with you, we can ask you to share your personal information with us for the following  purposes: 

  • Receiving information about services and news from EVE (Newsletter) 

  • Saving your data for future interactions and communication with EVE 

  • Participation in EVE web activities on the Internet, including our social media channels/pages 

  • Purpose of potential employment in the company 

  • Help improve our services and enable EVE to regularly inform you about them 

  • Resolution of client and/or service issues 

  • Receiving customized messages, special offers and promotional content in accordance with your interests, based on the information you shared with us, as well as on information we collected through cookies or similar techniques concerning your use of EVE. 

 

When doing business with EVE as a business client, supplier or business partner, we will ask you to share your personal information with us for the following purposes: 

  • Customer Relationship Management 

  • Ensuring access to information 

  • Communication 

  • Analysis and understanding of customer interactions 

  • Answering questions or resolving service requests 

  • Offer a satisfaction survey after you receive an answer to your question or after your request has been resolved. 

 

In general, we process your personal data only for the purposes we have informed you about. 

These purposes can be based on the legal regulations that EVE has to comply with, based on the contract that EVE has concluded with you and on personal consent. 

 

Personal data that EVE may collect 

When interacting with EVE via e-mail, web or social networks, we can request or obtain certain data such as: 

  • First and last name 

  • Email address 

  • Phone number 

  • Information contained in the CV 

  • Social networks profile 

  • Information on interests and preferences 

  • Other information about your behaviour 

 

We can also collect personal data through cookies or similar techniques, including among others: 

  • IP address 

  • Cookie ID 

  • The Internet browser you are using. 

 

When communicating with EVE as a business client, supplier or business partner, we can collect the following data: 

  • First and last name 

  • Email address 

  • Phone number 

  • Business address 

  • Name and address of the company you work for 

  • Personal details that could be relevant to the business relationship, e.g., your professional experience, position etc. 

 

Methods of collecting personal data: 

You can share personal data with EVE through (not limited to): 

  • Communication with EVE (may be related to a service, through a query or request made to us) 

  • Communication with one of the employees of EVE  

  • By e- mail, telephone or written or oral means 

  • Order a service 

  • Participation in social networking activities concerning the promotion of EVE (e.g. by choosing the “like” or “share” options) 

  • Request to receive messages on your mobile phone/device 

  • Using the website and its functionalities such as ChatBot 

  • Voluntary participation in surveys 

  • Cookies placed on your computer or mobile device when visiting our website 

  • Monitoring social networks: EVE can search online for relevant and publicly available content and use it to improve its services, solve client requests and provide targeted marketing content.

Sharing personal information with others 

We can share your personal data with service suppliers, business partners and other third parties, in accordance with the applicable law and business contracts we have with such institutions. In certain cases, when the law does not prescribe it, your personal data may be forwarded to third parties such as accounting service, company providing software service for customer records, company that analyses wishes and interests on our website, delivery service, etc. EVE confirms that all suppliers (third parties) used in business operations have been warned that they themselves are obliged to comply with the PII regulations such as CCPA, GDPR etc. and that all collected and processed data that are not part of legal obligations must be resolved by concluding a contract on the transfer and processing of personal data (so-called DPA), which clearly prescribes obligations of suppliers to treat personal data that they obtain in this relationship in accordance with the law and other positive regulations and that they themselves are fully compliant with the PII regulations and that they apply adequate organizational and technical data protection measures. 

If the law obliges us to obtain your consent or for some other reason we feel that your consent is necessary in certain circumstances, we will request it before sharing your personal data. 

After you provide us with your personal information, it is possible to update, modify or request their deletion via an e-mail address: info@eve.security. 

At the same address, you can ask other privacy issues or present your privacy complaints. In order to  prevent unauthorized requests, in the process of exercising your rights, we will request you to confirm your identity while filling out a form for exercising the rights of the data subject or in other appropriate form. 

 

Scope related to the Internet 

 

Social networks 

If you are a member of various social networks such as Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc., you should also be familiar with the tools that these pages provide by choosing how to share personal data on social media profiles. 

In addition, depending on the selection related to settings on various social networks, certain personal data may be shared with EVE; for example, information about your online activities, social network profiles (e.g. interests, marital status, gender, user name, photo, comments and content you have published/shared, etc.). 

Opt-out (check out) newsletter option 

Any recipient of the newsletter of EVE can opt-out using such option from a provided unsubscribe link in newsletter sign or by sending an e-mail to the info@eve.security requesting opt-out.  

 

Links to other websites 

On the website of EVE, you can find links to other websites with useful information. Such websites may operate independently of EVE and may have their own privacy policy, notices, statements or rules. We strongly recommend that you review them to find out how your personal data could be processed in connection with these websites because we are not responsible for the content of websites that are not owned or managed by EVE, nor for the use or privacy practices of these sites. 

Please note that we accept and take seriously our responsibility for the protection of personal data that you trust us against loss, abuse or unauthorized access. 

All personal data collected shall be retained until the end of the purpose or as defined by applicable law.

Children and minors 

EVE does not communicate in any way with children and/or minors. In case of accidental contact, any contact and communication with children and minors shall be conducted by communicating, talking, negotiating and contracting exclusively with the parent/guardian. The contract, consent, consent and any other legally binding document shall be signed exclusively by the parent/guardian. 

 

How do we store the data? 

We store and process only those data from those users who have given their personal consent for their processing and/or in accordance with contractual obligations or have obtained these data on the basis of law or contract. Privacy protection of personal data is permanent and we take all measures to protect them in accordance with the regulation. 

 

How do we protect the user's personal information? 

According to the estimated risks to personal data, EVE has established a number of technical and organizational measures for the protection of personal data. These measures relate to the protection of office documents, computer protection, employee behaviour rules, contractual relations with external service providers.  

 

The rights you have 

We want to get to know you better so that we can provide you with a better service, while respecting your choice in terms of how we use your personal information. 

 

These eight rights are:

1. The Right to Be Informed 

Each Data Subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed.

 

2. The Right of Access 

Each Data Subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller free information about his if or her personal data stored at any time while data subject must have access to information such as purposes of the processing, categories of personal data concerned, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organizations, where possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period etc. 

 

3. The Right to Rectification 

Each data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her

4. The Right to Erasure (Right to be forgotten) 

Each data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay, and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay.

 

5. The Right to Restrict Processing 

Each data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing where one of the following applies: the accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject, for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data and/or the processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of their use instead

6. The Right to Data Portability 

Each data subject shall have the right, to receive the personal data concerning him or her that was provided to a controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format 

 

7. The Right to Object 

Each data subject shall have the right to object, on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, at any time, to processing of personal data concerning him or her, which is based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. This also applies to profiling based on these provisions. 

 

8. The Right to Avoid Automated Decision-Making 

Each data subject shall have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning him or her, or similarly significantly affects him or her 

Additionally, Data Subject has right to withdraw consent at any moment. 

 

Do not sell my data 

Eve Security Inc. minimizes amount of personal data collected and processed. Also, Eve Security Inc. follows recommendations from CCPA related to “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” concept. Any person can easily opt-out from our having their personal data by simply sending your first name and last name in an email message to info@eve.security with information from what you would like to opt-out.
